Other Info | Captured 10th April 1919 at Messines. He was employed on work behind the German lines, unloading coal trucks at Laon and St. Gaubert and other places. He reported sick in May 1918 and was sent to the hospital on the 1st September 1918 suffering from diarrhoea. He died on the 14th October 1918. The Post-Mortem stated cause of death as; Chronic dysenteric colitis and great emaciation (starvation). |
