Other InfoHe was wounded twice. His seconds wounds of the 29th September 1918, of machine gun fire, received at village of Koelenberg was to result in his death 5 days later. HARINGHE (BANDAGHEM) MILITARY CEMETERY, West-Vlaanderen, Belgium - III. A. 13. The cemetery site was chosen in July 1917 for the 62nd and 63rd Casualty Clearing Stations and burials from these and other hospitals (notably the 36th Casualty Clearing Station in 1918) continued until October 1918. Husband of Mrs Downes of St Patrick, Hampden Road, Malvern.
