Other Info | Died of wounds on the 21st March 1918 (age 26). He had just returned to France after a fortnight's leave when He was wounded by a shell. He had previously been awarded the D.C.M. for his actions on the 24th October 1917, whilst serving with the 2/7th Battalion Worcestershire Regiment. His wife Ellen Salt was presented with the D.C.M. at Leicester on the 31st July 1918 by General Sir John Maxwell.
