Other Info | He was 17 years 11 months when he enlisted. Served with Ox & Bucks L. I. in Dublin. Shortly after landing in France he was transferred from the Oxfordshire and Buckinghamshire Light Infantry to the 3rd Battalion at St. Marie Capelle, near Poperinge on the 16th April 1918. After he was wounded he was first treated at St. Cloud on the 28th May 1918 and then sent to the hospital at Rouen on the 2nd June 1918 and finally evacuated back to England on the 6th June 1918 and initially treated in hospital at Derby. |
