Other Info	Son of Ellen Harris of 612 Bordesley Green, Small Heath, Birmingham. Originally joined the Worcestershire Regiment and then posted to the 6th Battalion Worcestershire Regiment on the 3rd September 1915. Transferred to the 3/5th Battalion East Kent (Buffs) Regiment on the 13th January 1916 and army number changed to 3212. Posted to the 1/5th Battalion East Kent (Buffs) Regiment on the 21st January 1916. Left U.K. on the 22nd January 1916 and sailed With the IEFD (Indian Expeditionary Force D) to Mesopotamia arriving on the 22nd February 1916. He served there overseas for 3 years. He returned back to the U.K. on the 13th April 1919 and was discharge on the 11th May 1919.
